Home Learning

At St Mary's, we pride ourselves on our partnership with parents and we know that children make most progress when school and parents work together. We see home learning as an opportunity for parents to become involved with their children's school learning and for children to consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding. 

Each week, children are given the following home learning:
  • reading
  • spellings or phonics
  • number facts or times tables
  • Maths (usually on MyMaths)
Each half term, the children are also given a menu of learning challenge related home learning where the children can select from a range of tasks. This can be completed at any time during the half term. These menus are below.
