World Maths Day

Last Wednesday, St Mary's celebrated World Maths Day. The day started with an assembly which explored why maths is important. In the afternoon, each class did maths activities based on a story. Parents were invited into to school to play maths games, complete puzzles, solve problems and take part in maths challenges. Children were given the opportunity to compete against children from all over the world to answer maths questions.
