Y3 Trip to the Synagogue and the Cathedral

This half term Y3 extended their knowledge and understanding of the Jewish faith by visiting a synagogue. They had a tour round looking at the features, saw a Torah scroll and had the opportunity to ask many questions. The same day, Y3 explored their own faith in further detail by visiting the seat of the Catholic church here in the Diocese of Hallam - St Marie's Cathedral. Our very own Deacon Bill gave a tour round the cathedral and the children spotted many decorative and symbolic features.
