On Thursday 19th November Y3 visited Weston Park Museum for a very exciting day learning all about the Ancient Greeks.  In the morning the children enjoyed developing their knowledge about the Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses and took part in different role play activities.  They then worked together as a team to build a large Parthenon which is one of the famous Greek buildings.  The children loved seeing the completed Parthenon and learning about its history and importance.  In the afternoon the children had a wonderful time exploring the museum and finding out more about the life of the Ancient Greeks.  A fun day was had by all and the children were a credit to St. Mary’s with their excellent behaviour and good manners.
