Y5 trip to Eden Camp

Y5 ended their WW2 topic on a high note with a visit to Eden Camp. Behaviour was outstanding and the children were very respectful towards the sensitive subject matter. This was particularly evident during their mature responses in the remembrance chapel. The Blitz was another favourite with the sounds, sights and smells really bringing it to life. However, the most talked about part of the day was the giant (and I do mean giant!) spider in the mess hut during lunch!
