In March y6 escaped High Green, for 3 fun-filled days on the flat planes of Lincolnshire. PGL was our destination and the children were buzzing. As soon as we had arrived, picked our bedrooms and eaten our lunch the activities began. From the challenging High Ropes to the thought provoking sensory trail there was something to suite every personality. We learned how to orienteer and how to put trust in each other when belaying. A fantastic time was had by all – even the teachers.

When we arrived back, the children were compelled to write a letter of thanks to some of their favourite leaders. Here are some quotes:

“I am writing to say thank you for the amazing time we had at PGL, it was fandabydozy!   I can’t thank you enough for helping me get up a level on all aboard.  You were really nice and helpful, but remember make the super safe wedgies a bit less tight next time.” Alfie

“As well as high ropes I also liked the zip wire because it was fast and when I was on the zip wire the wind blew in my face and there is nothing better than that in my opinion.” Josh

“All aboard was my favourite moment because I liked the team working together and the atmosphere. I also liked it because our class teacher Mrs. Taylor climbed up and jumped off at the top, her Tarzan impression was amazing; don’t you think so to? Before I climbed it I felt nervous, scared and little bit of mixed emotions. During my climb you were very encouraging and funny at the

same time. When I jumped off at the top you were very encouraging. It was brilliant but you let me down a bit fast.” India
