Governance

School Governors have responsibility for raising school standards through their 3 key roles of:

  • setting strategic direction
  • ensuring accountability 
  • acting as a 'critical friend'

 

The headteacher is responsible for the day to day management of the school. The role of the Governing Body is to provide strategic management supporting the work of the headteacher.
