At St Mary’s, all pupils learn the language of French. In line with the school’s philosophy around global citizenship, language learning will broaden their horizons, encourage them to step beyond cultural boundaries and develop new ways of seeing the world.
Primary Languages at Our School
We are proud to deliver high-quality language education in partnership with Primary Languages Network. Their specialist-led approach, including native speaker video teaching and whole-school CPD, ensures our pupils experience engaging, progressive language learning from Reception to Year 6. With structured planning, upskilling tools for teachers, and a focus on confidence and continuity, this programme prepares our children for future language success in secondary school and beyond.
