St Mary's Catholic Primary School is a happy, inclusive Catholic school where children develop as well-rounded individuals with a strong sense of self and a commitment to being an involved participant in our community. Our children are viewed as unique individuals with value and worth created in the image of God.

We place a high priority on ensuring children's mental wellbeing is met. Every child is well cared for and supported. As well as strong pastoral support, we have high standards in each subject area. High standards and enabling children to achieve national expectations and above is of vital importance if they are to succeed at the next stage of education and go on to achieve full and happy lives. 

Our Catholic ethos, mission statement - 'Journeying in the light of Christ, together we live and learn' - and four core values - Faith, Pride, Challenge and Success - are the foundation of everything we do. Prayer and worship are a vital part of our school life. 

We are always happy to welcome prospective parents for a visit. This is the best way to meet the  children and staff, feel the school's nurturing and caring atmosphere and experience the Catholic ethos.
